MEET SKI
A pioneer in Hawaii’s hip-hop scene, he has spent over 20 years in the music industry and made history as the first rap artist from Hawaii to sign with a local record label.
In 1999, he earned Best Album and Producer of the Year at the Hawaii Music Awards and went on to release six albums that helped shape the island’s hip-hop culture. After stepping away for a season, he returns in 2025 with renewed focus and creative clarity. Now fully committed to writing and producing, he is set to release three new albums in 2026.
